There is no denying that 2020/2021 has been a roller-coaster of a year. We are now 16 months into a global pandemic. That said, July is the annual Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional) renewal process which has just been completed. I am yet again humbled to receive the award email notification this morning informing me that I’d received MVP Renewal for the 2021/22 year in the Enterprise Mobility – Identity and Access Management category. This is my forth renewal after being first awarded in 2017.
I’m super excited about the advancements in identity and access management that we’ve made in the last 12 months. Especially in regards to Passwordless and even more so Azure AD Verifiable Credentials. In my biased opinion “Digital Identity” certainly is a great specialization to be in.
I’ve put together a quick markdown document to link to the recent projects, blog posts and libraries many of which I’ve either created or updated in the last 12 months.
Decode an X509 Certificate and present it as a PowerShell Object. Certificate PowerShell Object details updated to include the X509 Certificate time to expiry (timeToExpiry).
Decode a JWT Access Token and convert to a PowerShell Object. PowerShell Object also includes the JWT Signature (sig), JWT Token Expiry (expiryDateTime) and JWT Token time to expiry (timeToExpiry).
The Lithnet MIM RMA PoshBot module for the Lithnet RMA PowerShell Module for orchestration of the Microsoft Identity Manager Service
The Lithnet MIIS Automation PoshBot module for the Lithnet MIIS Automation PowerShell Module for orchestration of the Microsoft Identity Manager Syncrhonnisation Server
I look forward to being an active contributor of the MVP family for the 2021/22 renewal cycle with a lot of my MVP colleagues who have also been renewed. Fingers crossed MVP Summit will return to an in-person event in 2022.
