July and mid-winter here in Australia where the daylight hours are short and the weather is crisp. But the beginning of July along with being a new financial year is time where MVPs impatiently await Microsoft MVP renewal notifications. This year the announcement was delayed by a few more days but it was with plenty of forward notice. I’m excited to report that I have been renewed as a Microsoft Security MVP for 2023/24.
During the last 12 months the category I was previously in (Enterprise Mobility – Identity & Access Management) was renamed to Security – Identity & Access Management. Simply the alignment with where the branding of Azure services is going.
It was great to have a hybrid Global MVP Summit earlier this year, with a chance to connect both with the Microsoft Product Groups, as well as MVP colleagues old and new.
Congratulations to all my MVP brethren who have been renewed. I look forward to being an active contributor of the MVP family for the 2023/24 cycle and heading back to Redmond for MVP Summit in 2024.
I now await my 6th award disc to add to the MVP trophy.
